i’ve always dreamed about the Neverland.

I didn’t remember much about the Disney movie. I did watch it when I was fairly young, but all my mind was trapped by the idea of flying to Neverland. There were so many stories about Neverland. Only the younger children could learn to fly, they say, and when you grow up, the memories fade.

So I started dreaming. Maybe I was there. It might not be long; just a few days on the island. Maybe I’d met other children. Maybe I’d met Pan. But I’d forgotten it all.

When i was in Scotland,I studied the original peter pan play.

And my passion for Neverland was rekindled. The Scottish culture that influenced J. M. Barrie in his writing also became an inspiration for me. When I came back, I had a chance to work with my classmate to make a title sequence. I immediately thought of Peter Pan (or, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up).

We started from creating the characters. I don’t want it to be too similar to the Disney movie, so I played around with imaginations.
